Calé has gone through several phases over the last thirty years. The first business step that marks our beginnings was taken in 1980, in the bakery business.
From then on, we grew and acquired several bakeries and pastry shops in Peniche and Caldas da Rainha, standing out for the development of our products and services, such as Cakedesign, new types of Gourmet Bread, innovation in Daily Fresh Pastry and the offer of nutritionally healthier products.Enriched by a new generation, Calé has expanded its production offer by developing innovative breads, namely Pão do Mar and Pão d'Algas, as well as traditional confectionery, creating typical sweets such as Biscoitos de Peniche, Pastel d'Algas and Pelicano.
